It all started back in 2010 when Lisa Sweetman fell for a painting by Cassandra Rizzotto. Soon after, they had combined their energies and launched a business to showcase raw foods made primarily with local, seasonal and organic ingredients. Since that time, Earth & City has branched out to provide a broad selection of vegan fare, including their famous Coconut Macaroons, Cowboy Cookies, and Juice Pulp Crackers, which can be found in an expanding list of retail locations.
From a staff of two, Earth & City has grown to employ as many as 15 people during the busy season, providing a great example of a ‘market-grown’ business, and they are full of ideas for the future!
